Jane Birkin was a British-French actress and singer (1946-2023). She appeared in films such as Cinderella, Death on the Nile, Evil Under the Sun alongside Maggie Smith, La Belle Noiseuse, and La Piscine with Alain Delon. Birkin sang several notable singles including Ballade de Melody Nelson with Serge Gainsbourg, with whom she had Charlotte Gainsbourg, also an actress; Jane B.; and Ex-fan des sixties with Bon Entendeur.
