Alain Delon was a French actor. He played Tom Ripley in Purple Noon and appeared in films such as Lost Command, La Piscine with Jane Birkin, Red Sun, Le Samouraï, and Zorro. Delon also directed Pour La Peau D'un Flic, produced 3 Men to Kill and Borsalino and Co., and released the singles Paroles... paroles... with Dalida and Cannes la ville du cinéma. Prior to his acting career, Delon enlisted in the French Navy, served in the First Indochina War, and was dishonorably discharged in 1956. He passed away in 2024.
