Alanis Morissette is a Canadian-American singer-songwriter. Her third album Jagged Little Pill was a worldwide phenomenon, earning her Grammy Awards for Album of the Year, Best Rock Album, and Best Rock Song for You Oughta Know in 1995, and was named one of Apple Music's 100 Best Albums in 2024. Morissette has released several more successful albums, including Such Pretty Forks in the Road and Under Rug Swept.
Her most popular songs include Hand in My Pocket, Uninvited, Hands Clean, and Ironic. Morissette has appeared in the documentary Music Box: Jagged and Sensitive - The Untold Story, the films Dogma and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, TV show The Great North, and the Apple Original series Carpool Karaoke: The Series.
