Emmylou Harris is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. Harris worked with Gram Parsons, a pivotal figure in country-rock music, and made memorable appearances on his final solo recordings. She's since become a major influence in country music in her own right. As a solo artist, she's released myriad albums, including Pieces of the Sky, Elite Hotel, Luxury Liner, and Roses In the Snow. She also collaborated with Dolly Parton and Linda Ronstadt on the 1987 album Trio and 1999 follow-up Trio II . Other collaborations include Wild Montana Skies with John Denver and Boulder to Birmingham with The Fray.
