Lou Reed was an American musician and songwriter. He co-founded The Velvet Underground. As a solo artist, he released albums including Transformer, Berlin, Rock 'n' Roll Animal, and New York. Reed also worked with Metallica. He had popular songs such as Walk on the Wild Side, Perfect Day, and Satellite of Love. Reed appeared in the documentary Velvet Underground: Under Review. Reed passed away in 2013.
