Robbie Robertson was a Canadian singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He helped Bob Dylan go electric and was a member of the rock band The Band. Robertson released albums including Music for The Native Americans, Robbie Robertson, and Killers of the Flower Moon, the soundtrack to the Martin Scorsese film. His most popular songs include Shine Your Light, Peyote Healing with Johnny Mike and Verdell Primeaux, and Still Standing. He appeared in the documentaries The Last Waltz, Once Were Brothers: Robbie Robertson and The Band, and the series American Masters. He also discussed his work with The Band in an interview with Apple Music. Robbie Robertson passed away in 2023.
