Haitian rapper, singer, and record producer
Wyclef Jean is a Haitian rapper. He formed the hip-hop group Fugees with Pras Michel and Lauryn Hill. Later, he released solo albums, including Wyclef Jean presents The Carnival, Carnival, Vol. II: Memoirs of an Immigrant, and The Ecleftic: 2 Sides II A Book. His most popular songs include Sweetest Girl (Dollar Bill), 911, and We Trying to Stay Alive.
Jean also co-wrote, co-produced, and guested on Shakira's 2006 global chart-topping single Hips Don't Lie. He has appeared in films such as Dirty, Shottas, and The Country Bears.
