American country singer and songwriter
Kenny Rogers was an American country singer and songwriter. Rogers released the album The Gambler in 1978, which included the popular song of the same name, and followed this up with Kenny in 1979. He collaborated with Dolly Parton on the 1984 album Once Upon a Christmas. Rogers also released the popular songs Islands In the Stream and Coward of the County. He appeared in the films The Gambler and Wild Horses, as well as the television series Kenny Rogers as The Gambler: The Adventure Continues.
