Céline Dion
Céline Dion is a Canadian singer. She released her first album, La voix du bon Dieu, at the age of 13 and recorded seven more French-language albums during the 1980s before releasing her first in English, the platinum-selling Unison, in 1990. In 1992, she won her first Grammy Award — for Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal for Beauty and the Beast with Peabo Bryson. The following year, her 12th studio album, The Colour of My Love, spawned her first US No. 1 single, a cover of Jennifer Rush’s The Power of Love. Dion’s subsequent No. 1 albums include 1996’s Falling into You (winner of the Grammy Awards for Album of the Year and Best Pop Album), the 11-times platinum Let’s Talk About Love (1997), A New Day Has Come (2002), and Courage (2015).
Her most popular song is My Heart Will Go On, released in 1997 for the James Cameron film Titanic. The track won four Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year, and an Academy Award for Best Original Song. Her other big hits include Falling Into You, Because You Loved Me (the theme from the movie Up Close and Personal), and It's All Coming Back to Me Now. Dion performed Las Vegas residencies in 2003 and 2011, and has appeared in films such as Muppets Most Wanted, Love Again, and the documentary I Am: Celine Dion.
